  • Why are you doing this now? What took so long?
    • We believe in listening to our guests and providing them with meaningful, relevant information to make informed decisions about the food they eat. Due to the hand-crafted nature of our food, compiling the nutritional information was a complex process that required the testing of a wide variety of menu items.
  • Why these nutrients?
    • Guests who have asked for this information have indicated these are the nutrients they are most interested in.
  • Are you required to provide this information?
    • Not in most areas. We are making this information available because we believe in providing meaningful, relevant facts to those guests who want them, so they can make informed decisions about the food they eat.
  • Are you making this information available in your restaurants as well?
    • The information is available upon request in our restaurants.
  • Why does your menu include items with higher calorie and fat-gram counts?
    • Our goal is to deliver an exceptional experience every time you visit our restaurant. An important part of that experience is having a wide variety of menu items that appeal to a broad range of taste preferences and dietary needs. If you are concerned about the nutritional content of a certain item, you may want to look at something else. We’re also happy to do our best to make substitutions where possible to meet your needs.
  • Why don’t you list information about gluten and other food allergens?
    • Do to the hand-crafted nature of our food and changing ingredients, it’s difficult to accurately provide that information. If you are unsure about consuming a certain menu item, we recommend having your physician talk to us or send us a letter so we can work to accommodate you as best we can. Your health and safety are our number one concern.
  • Do you support nutrition disclosure? What is your company’s position on the issue?
    • We believe in listening to our guests and providing them with meaningful, relevant information to make informed decisions about the food they eat.

We support a uniform, national nutrition standard for restaurants, rather than a patchwork of local regulations that make it difficult to provide the information consistently in our restaurants across the country. We also believe restaurants should be able to communicate detailed nutrition information to customers in a manner that is meaningful and convenient for their guests and consistent with the overall brand experience.
  • How did you calculate the nutritional data?
    • We prepared each one of our menu items multiple times and had them tested by a professional laboratory that specializes in nutritional analysis. Due to the hand-crafted nature of our food, and any guest substitutions or special requests, it’s possible there could be minor fluctuations in the figures provided.
  • What are the recommended daily allowances for the nutrients listed on your website?
    • The USDA’s Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend limiting saturated fat to 20 grams and sodium to 2,300 milligrams for a typical adult eating 2,000 calories daily. Recommended limits may be higher or lower depending upon daily calorie consumption.
  • I am trying to avoid trans-fats and hydrogenated oils, do any of your meals or desserts contain trans-fats?
    • All of our cooking oils are trans-fat free.
