LongHorn Steakhouse is proud to give back to our local communities and help make a difference in the lives of others. Here are just a few ways LongHorn supports our core business value of positively contributing to the local communities where we operate:
- With each new LongHorn restaurant opening, we donate a portion of proceeds from pre-opening training events to help local organizations in need.
- Each holiday season, in lieu of holding their own holiday celebration, each LongHorn Steakhouse designates a local charity and gives back in some way – providing toys, clothing or other household items to needy families or hosting a holiday meal for neighbors who otherwise would go without.
- Every LongHorn restaurant participates in the Darden Harvest program, in partnership with the Food Donation Connection, contributing high-quality food items to community food banks to help feed the hungry.
- LongHorn and other Darden restaurants are members of the Red Cross Annual Disaster Giving Program and donate meals to help feed local families affected by natural disasters.
As a member of the Darden family of restaurants, LongHorn’s dedication to serving our local communities supports Darden’s culture of giving back and enhancing the quality of life in the communities where we do business.
